OnlyFumes take
My OnlyFumes take is that Jean Lowe Fantasme is a useful budget entry into the citrus-tea fresh lane. The note structure I trust here is the citron, bergamot, orange, neroli, ginger, cinnamon, black tea, ambroxan, guaiac wood, and olibanum version. It smells like it is chasing that clean Imagination-style profile, not like a dark cocoa-oud fragrance. The best part is the value and easy wearability; the weakness is likely performance and refinement compared to the top options. For the price, I would call it a strong fresh daily option, but not the final boss of this DNA.

Scent journey

For performance, I would set expectations around 4 to 6 hours on skin, with moderate projection for the first hour or two before it becomes closer and cleaner. This is gym-safe if you keep it light, especially one to two sprays, because the profile is fresh and clean instead of sweet, smoky, or loud. It is also office-safe, daytime-safe, and very easy to wear in spring and summer. The value is the main reason this is interesting. If you want that citrus-tea Imagination-style direction without spending niche money, Fantasme makes sense as an affordable option. The tradeoff is that it probably will not have the same depth, polish, or long-haul projection as the expensive stuff.

OnlyFumes review
Parfums de Marly Percival is a clean, generic blue-fresh niche scent with okay longevity, but it does not feel exceptional enough to justify the money.
OnlyFumes review
If you are new to fragrances, this is how I would build the collection. Do not start with hype. Start with purpose.
OnlyFumes review
If I had to sum up the market right now, I would say the hottest fragrances are not all trying to do the same thing anymore. The old blue-fragrance lane is still alive, but it is no longer the whole conversation. Sweet masculine gourmands, modern oud, skin scents, extrait versions, and value fragrances with real projection are all fighting for attention.
