New York works because the bergamot and coriander opening feels clean without being plain. The mid-wear gets smoother with ambroxan, apple, and vanilla. The drydown stays polished with ambergris, tonka bean, and woody notes. Performance and wearability make it one of the easier daily-use scents in the batch. For me, this is not the most exciting Bujairami, but it may be one of the easiest to actually wear.

Scent journey
Bujairami New York is a clean city-fresh scent with bergamot, coriander, ambroxan, apple, vanilla, ambergris, tonka bean, and woody notes.
I would call performance about 7 to 8 hours of total scent longevity, around 2 to 3 hours of projection longevity, and roughly 3 to 5 hours of sillage. I would wear this in warm weather, city days, casual office settings, brunch, errands, and clean daily outfits. Gym safe? Yes with one light spray because the bergamot, ambroxan, and clean woody base stay fresh, but I would still avoid overspraying. In the collection, this overlaps with modern fresh-woody scents, but it is useful because it is so easy to wear. I also care about how the performance fits the actual use case. A clean summer scent does not need to behave like a winter amber, and a darker night scent does not need to be gym-safe to be successful. If it projects forever but becomes annoying, that is not a win. If it sits closer but smells clean, balanced, and useful for the right situation, that can still be a good performance result. The value is good because this profile is practical. New York is not the bottle I would reach for if I wanted something wild or artistic, but it is the kind of scent that can get a lot of wear. If the goal is a clean Lafayette Street-style daily scent for less, I understand why someone would buy it. The value conversation is also where I separate 'cheap' from 'worth buying.' A low price only matters if the scent still gives me a reason to wear it, and a familiar DNA only works if the bottle is filling a real gap. For New York, the value depends on whether someone wants this exact Bond No. 9 Lafayette Street-style lane and understands the tradeoff. I would rather call that clearly than pretend every budget inspiration is automatically a must-buy.
Bujairami New York is clean, modern, and easy to wear.

Today we wore Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe Fantasme, and this one needed a little extra research because the note lists online are messy.

Parfums de Marly Percival is a clean, generic blue-fresh niche scent with okay longevity, but it does not feel exceptional enough to justify the money.

If you are new to fragrances, this is how I would build the collection. Do not start with hype. Start with purpose.
