Rayhaan Azul is a budget Dior Homme Cologne-inspired freshie with a very loud lemon opening. I like it most after it settles, when the watery citrus and soft sandalwood come forward. The issue is that the lemon can smell like cleaning supplies, and that caps the score for me. I would wear it casually in the heat, but I would not reach for it when I want polished citrus. It is useful, not special.

Scent journey
Rayhaan Azul is a wearable Dior Homme Cologne-inspired citrus freshie that works best in the heat, but the lemon-cleaner edge keeps it at a 7.3.
Today I wore Rayhaan Azul, and this one is clearly playing in that Dior Homme Cologne lane: clean citrus, white-shirt freshness, and easy summer wear. I wanted to see if it could give me that same bright, polished citrus feeling for less money. The first spray is a big blast of lemon. It is not soft lemonade, it is not creamy citrus, and it is not that sparkling designer citrus that feels smooth right away. Close to the skin, Azul is much better than the first spray. It becomes a quiet lemon peel scent with clean watery sandalwood underneath.
Close to the skin, Azul is much better than the first spray. It becomes a quiet lemon peel scent with clean watery sandalwood underneath. The cleaner edge is still there, but it is softer and easier to tolerate. This stage smells like citrus residue after the loud part burns off. It is clean, casual, and light, with a little fresh woody smoothness. If someone gets close, they are mostly going to smell a simple clean lemon-sandalwood trail. The skin scent does not become creamy, musky, or expensive-smelling. It stays very clean and very straightforward. But for hot weather, that is not the worst thing. PERFORMANCE, WEARABILITY & COLLECTION FIT For this style, performance is solid. I would treat it like a 5 to 7 hour fresh scent, with the strongest projection in the first hour or two before it settles closer to skin. Wearability is the strongest part of Azul. It is easy to throw on in warm weather, after a shower, for casual daytime use, or anytime I want something clean and low-effort. In my collection, though, it is not replacing a smoother citrus fragrance; it is more of a cheaper, sharper alternative for casual use.
Rayhaan Azul is okay, useful, and fresh, but the opening keeps it from being great.

Today we wore 40 Knots from Xerjoff, and this is not the bright blue aquatic people might expect when they hear sea-themed fragrance.
